Taken in Ponemah Bog, Amherst, NH. Ponemah Bog is an Audubon Society of New Hampshire wildlife sanctuary at which I volunteer as a sanctuary steward. That mostly means I pick up trash and help care for the trails. It is a unique place of stunning beauty.
Those plants that are sticking up out of the marsh are called Bog Cotton.
