BOSTON, MA - AUGUST 14: An eight-piece wood-wind and horn ensemble, sponsored by the E.R.A music department, performs at the first public concert in the courtyard at Boston Public Library on Aug. 14, 1935. Ernest Hoffman conducted. The musicians were: Joseph Pappautsakis on flute; Joseph Lukatsky and Alfred Villaui on oboe; Norman Cohen and Kendall Laurie Bell on clarinet; Anne DeGuichard on bassoon; Harry Shapiro and Louis D. Meyers on horn; Victor A Ferri on trumpet; and Austin Ledwick on bassoon.
